Recruitment...

Dear Potential New Member,

My name is Katelyn McClure and I have the privilege of serving as Delta Gamma's Vice President of Membership this year. I am so grateful for the opportunity to work alongside my amazing recruitment team in preparation to meeting you this August. This chapter has made me the woman I am today, and I am so excited to share with each of you what Delta Gamma means to us.

When entering recruitment, I knew a sorority could give me the chance to make friends and attend fun social events. However, I was unaware of the lasting impact this chapter would have on me. Walking into Delta Gamma for the first time, I immediately saw the authenticity and intentionality of each member. Each woman I met poured into me, and I saw characteristics in each of them that I wanted to develop during my time at Texas A&M.Through Delta Gamma, I have formed lifelong relationships, found my future bridesmaids, and developed those traits I had initially admired in the women I met during recruitment. I had the opportunity to grow in both leadership and confidence, and I am constantly pushed to be the best version of myself. I know life can be challenging and unpredictable, but one thing has stayed constant is the people and friendships I have formed as a member of this chapter. No matter what decision you make, I hope each of you are able to find what I have found in Delta Gamma.

Recruitment week can be overwhelming and challenging. However, finding your "home away from home" makes the entire process worth it. My biggest advice to each of you is to look at the women you meet in every house and decide who you want to become throughout your time at Texas A&M. This process will make you question many things, but always remember to stay true to who you are and who you desire to be. Delta Gamma is so excited to meet you and wishes you best of luck!

General Recruitment Information

Panhellenic sorority recruitment is a mutual selection process that is filled with activities designed to offer prospective members the chance to learn about the Panhellenic sororities in a concentrated period of time. It is an opportunity for students to meet the sorority members, ask questions, and outline financial obligations, time commitments, and membership requirements. Recruitment is not just a tool to meet people, but an opportunity to build lifelong relationships.
