Our Philanthropy...
Throughout the years of Eta Gamma Chapter's time at Texas A&M, we have raised thousands of dollars for Service for Sight. Each woman in our chapter understands the importance of service and volunteering. That is why we work so hard to plan fun and rewarding philanthropy events that all people of College Station can enjoy and get a peak of the Delta Gamma's heart for service. At each event our chapter hosts, we cater to hundreds-thousands in order to ensure we can raise as much money possible for our philathropy.
Our most common events include Backyard BBQ in the Fall and AnchorSplash in Spring. Backyard BBQ is a huge cook-out put on by DeeGee's with live music, food, fun and friends. It even includes our very own petting zoo! AnchorSplash is an event unique to all other events on the A&M campus. Spring of 2016 was Eta Gamma's first time to put on AnchorSplash for quite some time. It is a synchronized-swimming competition between men's organizations and fraternities here at Texas A&M University. Teams also compete in a series of relay races and a Q&A portion of the competition. The students and residents of College Station seem to enjoy these events just as much as we enjoy putting them on.
